Byron Spirit Festival will be offering a beautiful Kids Village for all the small spirits joining us this year. The village will be an extension of the family-friendly environmental fostered throughout the entire festival to bring together youth and elders, kids and family.
There will be conscious and planet supportive activities on offer available for kids and their parents. Parents are encouraged to create with and be a part of their children’s experience when they can throughout the festival.
The space will be divided into 2 areas, one for focused participation in programmed activities another more open area for all to create, read, play and chill.
Activities on offer in the Kids Village:
Clay Creations
Indigenous and Conscious Story Telling
Radiant Child Yoga
Dance
Recycled Art and Craft
Living Art with Plants and Herbs
Community Art Project
The Village is open to children aged 4 and up between 9am and 3pm daily, for a fee of $10 per 2hr period, or $25 for the three 2hr blocks that will be available.
Parents will be required to check in with their children every 2 hours and be with them during the lunch period of 11:00-1:00. Parents can coordinate group supervision amongst one another during this lunch period.
